Green Power Partnership: U.S. EPA's Voluntary Industry Partnership On Green Power

  • Is your organization currently or planning to purchase green power?
  • Is your organization looking for technical guidance or public recognition assistance as a result of your green power purchase?
  • Does your organization want to be considered for an U.S. EPA Green Power Leadership Award?

light bulb imageThe Green Power Partnership is a voluntary U.S. EPA program that promotes renewable energy by working directly with commercial, industrial, and public sector organizations that are interested in procuring renewable energy in the form of green power, distributed generation from renewable resources (solar, wind, geothermal, etc.), or green tags (tradable renewable certificates). The Green Power Partnership is designed to help organizations make green power a part of their energy purchases and recognize them for success in doing so. The Green Power Partnership can provide partners with technical assistance, opportunities for networking, public recognition, and use of the Green Power Partnership logo. By joining the partnership, participating organizations agree to provide U.S. EPA with basic information their green power purchases. U.S. EPA assigns each partner an account manager who can provide technical assistance to the partner and work with the partner to develop tailored recognition activities.
